When looking in the mirror, the first thing that most people notice is their face. Your face makes up a large part of your identity and the first impression that you provide when you meet new people. As you age, your face begins to change; you may notice sagging and additional creases that you didn’t have before. The best and most effective way to correct these changes and regain your youthful skin is through a surgical face lift.
A face lift, or rhytidectomy, is a surgical treatment used to reverse some of the signs of aging on the face. A face lift addresses the sagging skin and facial creases which form around the nose and to the chin. If you have deep creases running from the nose to the mouth, any lines from the corner of the mouth to the chin or have noticed a loss of elasticity in the lower face that creates jowls, you may want to consider a face lift. The procedure offers dramatic results to the midface region that can last 10 years or more. The goal of a face lift is to achieve a natural, youthful appearance that doesn’t look cosmetically altered. We want to give you the fantastic results you are looking for and restore the confidence in your appearance that you may have lost.
After the procedure, you can expect some residual swelling and bruising. Your face may be taped and it may be loosely wrapped to secure the surgical sites. You will be given specific instructions for your recovery, and you may need small drainage tubes to remove any excess blood or residual fluid. You will also be given some medications to help with any post-surgical discomfort from the procedure.
